Best Coffeeshops in Napa Valley

You’re up. Time now for Coffee.  If you’re staying in Downtown Napa there is no shortage of options for the morning fix.  Here are a few of the best coffee shops within a short walk of your location.

Barnhouse Napa Brews is one of the best and closest options from downtown hotels. Great coffee and baked goods in a cool, modern lounge environment.  You can play darts or shuffleboard, watch a sporting event on the big screen, luxuriate on a comfortable sofa.  It’s also a great place for a glass of beer or wine.  You should definitely try the onion tart.  You might want to hang out here all day.

Or:

Cross the first street bridge to the Oxbow Public Marketplace.  Here you will find two more options, both very popular:

The Model Bakery.  Great Coffee and an exceptional bakery.  They do the best breakfast sandwiches, morning buns, croissants, and the like.  This is the place that makes an english muffin that made Oprah's Favorite Things list.  Never disappoints.  They have shaded picnic tables outside, or you can take your food and drink inside the Oxbow Market and eat at the any of the tables or balconies there.

Or, try out Ritual Coffee Roasters which puts more emphasis on the artisanal quality of the coffee and much less on the food. It’s located inside the main building of the Oxbow Market.  It’s a go-to for many coffee aficionados.

Le Paris Artisan and Gourmet Cafe is small and cute. Located near the courthouse between 2nd and 3rd Streets, it feels private and out of the way even though it is in the middle of everything. You can eat in their cool lofted lounge or Paris-style out on the street.

*We do have a St**b*cks, but come on, try the local stuff--Napa is all about expanding palates and delighting the senses*
